Spinning and releasing my thoughts...
I mainly started this blog so I could archive my life. Kind of like a
capsule thing. I forget things easily so I thought this would be a good idea
so I could look back and all the weird and crazy shit I did at a certain time and age.
So yeah, check it. Or don't, I don't care. Haha.

Goodbye Two-Thousand and Nine.
I've had this blog for a year now. It's crazy looking back at all the things that happened, the good and the bad. I feel like I need to post something to sum it all up and who better to do that than Dashboard Confessional? Screaming Infidelities, will be my anthem to 2009 and will also close off the whole year never to think about 2009 or talk about it, ever again... Screaming Infidelities I'm missing your bed I never sleep Avoiding the spots where we'd have to speak, And this bottle of beast Is taking me home I'm cuddling close To blankets and sheets But you're not alone, and you're not discreet Make sure I know who's taking you home. I'm reading your note over again There's not a word that I comprehend, Except when you signed it "I will love you always and forever." Well As for now I'm gonna hear the saddest songs And sit alone and wonder How you're making out But as for me, I wish that I was anywhere with anyone making out. I'm missing your laugh How did it break? And when did your eyes begin to look fake? I hope you're as happy as you 're pretending. I am alone In my defeat I wish I knew you were safely at home I'm missing your bed I never sleep Avoiding the spots where we'd have speak, and This bottle of beast is taking me home. Your hair, it's everywhere. Screaming infidelities And taking its wear. Dies ist, wie ich fühle...
If necessary, I'll wait forever...
I cannot get enough of Karpatenhund and neither should you! They are amazing and their new album is genius. I have almost 2000 plays on each song from their new album on my iTunes. Here are their two new videos for their new singles. Check them out. :]
This is the video for their first single off their new album called "Wald".
Never again.
Never again.Never again am I going to let this happen. Never again am I going to feel this pain. Never again. I'm gone. I'm leaving. And I'm never going to think about you. Speak about you. Remember you. Feel anything for you. You're a chapter in my book that I will never re-read. You're a part of my life I will never re-think. After I took a breath and let everything sink I can now say goodbye. To the past four years. To my first kiss. To my first love. To you. You know who you are.
Seriously, you can go and fuck yourself.
For your consideration...
I've decided to post/talk about eight different artists that have somehow change or affected my life, or also they just kickass and need to be talked about. Hahaha :p In no peticular order here they are. Most of these artist are actually what I'm listening to at the moment and some of them I've been listening for years, since I was 14, possibly 13. Ok here we go: Lady GaGa: I don't care if people think she's a freak. I don't care if people think she's overrated. This woman is the only artist in the American mainstream music industry worth actually listening to. She follows the beat to her own drum, sings, dresses, writes, composes and preforms like no one I've ever seen before. Haters can back the fuck off haha. She is a genius and should be know as the Queen of Pop, move over Madonna no one cares anymore, you have competition now. Pick up her new album Monster when it comes out. It's going to be fucking AWESOME and AMAZING and MIND BLOWING. Recommended Songs: Bad Romance Alejandro Dance in the Dark Just Dance LoveGame Paparazzi Poker Face Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) I Like It Rough Rock Show Wonderful OLIVIA: I have two words to describe this woman. She is a "freaking god." I'm not even kidding. I've been listening to OLIVIA since I was about 14. This is going to sound so excessive/cliche I guess but if it wasn't for her music I have no idea how I would have made it through high school. She got me through a lot of shit in my life and I still listen to her. I have every single album, song/single she's ever released and know each beat, each lyric, and everything about her music inside and out. I think I'll be listening to her music till the day I die. I can't even describe her music or classify her into a genre because it just wouldn't be right. She has tried every genre under the sun and even made a few of her own and she works them all. There is nothing this woman cannot do. Personal hero of mine fo sho. Recommend Songs: Stars shining out Cloudy World a little pain Wish close your eyes tears & rainbows Bliss Forest Solar Half Breed Into the Stars Grapefruit Tea Color of Your Spoon Alone in our Castle Denial Cupid Sugarbloodsuckers Purple Box Skip to a little # Sailing free Trinka trinka Rain Mint Walk on by Collecting Sparkles Fuck it, every single one of her songs is just fucking god-like. MGMT: I'm not going to say a whole lot about MGMT other than that it would be a shame if you didn't pick up their "Oracular Spectacular" because it screams of awesomeness. It's filled with crazy psychedelic electronic indieness. Recommend Songs: Time to Pretend Electric Feel Kids Of Moons, Birds & Monsters Karpatenhund: Karpatenhund is an indie pop/rock band from Germany. All of their songs are written and sung in German and are just awesome. They have this quirky way of just making everything so freaking catchy. Every song from their new album has been stuck in my head for the past summer. They are fronted by actress/video DJ Claire Oelkers who provides vocals for the band and also writes the lyrics. Even if you don't speak German they are well worth checking out. Plus foreign music is just fun and awesome to listen to anyway. Their albums #3 and Der Name Dieser Band Ist Karpatenhund are worth checking out. Especially their new album. And don't be expecting so cliche sterotypical German polka shit because it's not like that at all. Go into it with an open mind. Recommend Songs: Zusammen Verschwinden Wald Ist es das was du wolltest? Alles Ist Schiefgegangen Notfalls Werde Ich Fur Immer Warten Bitte Bitte Bitte Rorschach Ich will dass du bleibst Fur immer Oh Ja Hier Wachst Nie Wieder Was Coconut Records: Actor and now turned artist Jason Schwartzman is behind the catchy indie pop genius this band is. Jason has been in quite a few movies, most recently Funny People and also in Marie Antoinette with Kirstin Dunst. Jason is the only member of the band but also has other artists/celebrites contribute such as Incubus helping out with the music, and also some of his music features guest vocalists like Zooey Deschanel and Kirstin Dunst. He has two albums out now, the recently released "Davy" and his debut album "Nighttiming." Jason provides the vocals for his solo indie project and also writes the lyrics. Recommended Songs: West Coast Nighttiming Summer Day Wires Microphone Any Fun Imogen Heap: Imogen Heap is an electronic pop fuzed artist from the U.K. and needless to say she is pretty fucking brilliant. She records all of her own music, creates it all playing all the instruments and sounds herself and also writes all the lyrics ect. She just recently released a new album titled "Ellipse." Compared to her two other albums and her work with Frou Frou I believe this new album stands out from the rest of them. Yeah it seems a little more toned down I guess especially since "Speak For Yourself" had a lot of power and emotion to it but that's not to say that "Ellipse" doesn't hold up to that because it does. It's special in it's own way I suppose. Not a single song on the new album I dislike. So check it out for yourself. Recommend Songs: First Train Home Wait It Out Swoon Tidal Between Sheets Bad Body Double Aha! Canvas The Walk Hide and Seek Oh my god this took me forever to put together, I actually had to cut out some of the artist I was gonna put into this. Only two of them. Silversun Pickups and The Smiths. They both should be checked out too I'm just way too lazy to make things for them especially since it's 1:55 am right now and I started this at like 12:45. I do admit I got a little distracted hahaha. Check them out! Peace. ☮
Kaleidoscope
I've been meaning to post up some lyrics that I've written but always seem to forget to. I wrote this one just a couple nights ago. One of my favorites I've written so far.Kaleidoscope I lost myself again, walking along the damp city sidewalks Scattering the pieces of my soul along the way But now the fragments are just traces of the past and no one is escaping this fray I'm burning off the fringes that make me linger around you Even though no one understands me the way that you do I keep rebuilding my heart just so you can break it again Thinking of you just wears and tears me down All I need is a reason to crawl away Time heals everything and everyone but it will never black out the memories I'd rather forget Why can't I live inside a Kaleidoscope? Sleeping with the times I'd rather not forget Dreaming with the stars that murmur while I slumber and feel the colors swirl around the past somber summer All I want is a world where I should always expect the unexpected, help the neglected, and see through another's perspective Why can't I live inside a Kaleidoscope?
