Chillin in Deutschland
So I made it safely to Germany. My flights were OK; the one to Detroit was horrible but the one to Frankfurt was really cool. I didn't really sleep at all on the plane, I watched Finding Nemo in German and watched Yes Man. I've been using my German too! I used it at the airport, on the plane and also in the village. The villiage I'm living in is called Olsbrücken. Let's see, the first day I got here Tif, the kids and I went on the U.S. Air Force base which was OK, I didn't like how Americanized everything was. They had a store that was like an exact replica of like WalMart or Shopko or something and all the food was amaerican too. But I want to stay away from things like that since I'm here. I wanna see Germany! It is now 11:41 am here which means its 2:41 am over in Washington right now. Jet lag is kind of getting to me. It didn't at all at first but around 6:30 pm I was starting to pass out. I woke up wide awake at 6:45 am today and decided to walk around the villiage. I went to the bakery and got a snack and walked around getting lost on purpose taking a million pictures. Here is the house I'm staying in. I'll post more later.
Peace. ☮
